Review and Reactions

The Graz Conference 2020 - first postponed from April 2020 to November 2020, then restructured as a virtual Online-Conference - was a great success despite all the challenges provoqued by the COVID-19 pandemic. Lively debates, top-class live discussion panels, a high number of participants in the virtual space from Wednesday (11.11.2020) to Saturday (14.11.2020), presentations and workshops of the highest academic quality, inspiring discussions in the conference chat and on Twitter (#grazconference2020) stimulated the discourse on the core concepts of history didactics and sustainably strengthened the intercultural and transnational cooperation of the communities.

The Conference in numbers:

  • ca. 150 participants
  • ca. 40 nations
  • five continents
  • 52 presentations
  • 3 workshops
  • 10 poster-presentations
  • 14 live discussions
