Luigi Cajani

Luigi Cajani is emeritus professor for Early Modern History at the Facoltà di Lettere e Filosofia of the Sapienza University of Rome, where he was also responsible for initial history teacher training. He has been from 2012 to 2018 president of the International Research Association for History and Social Sciences Education (IRAHSSE) and is currently Associated Scholar of the Georg-Eckert-Institut für internationale Schulbuchforschung in Braunschweig (Germany).

Current research interests: History of historiography, History education, Politics of history.
