Estevão de Rezende Martins

Estevão de Rezende Martins holds a degree in Philosophy from the Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters Medianeira (1971) and a PhD in Philosophy and History from the Universität München (Ludwig-Maximilian) (1976). He is Professor (since 1977), Full Professor (since 2008), Distinguished Professor (since 2018) of the University of Brasilia (UnB). Postdoctoral studies in Theory and Philosophy of History and in the History of Ideas in Germany, Austria and France.

Research fields: theory and methodology of history, political and institutional history of Brazil, historical culture and education, contemporary history and political history (Europe, European Union and international relations).
