Arthur Chapman

Arthur Chapman is Associate Professor of History in Education at UCL Institute of Education. He was a history teacher for 12 years and he has taught at the universities of Oxford, Cumbria, Edge Hill and London.

He is editor of the History Education Research Journal and a series editor of The International Review of History Education.

He has edited a number of books in history education, including Joined Up History: New Directions in History Education Research (2015), edited with Professor Arie Wilschut. He is a regular contributor to the international blog journal Public History Weekly.
